Posted: 22 Jul 2011 09:51 AM PDT The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), will allow companies, with$185,000 lying around, to register generic domains in 2012. What's the reason: and what could the impact be? Is this going to be to the detriment of the majority of the internet users and advertisers? Or is the expression of freedom justified? |
