Money for nothing

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

Once again the looters as Richard North of EU Referendum calls them are making off with our hard earned cash without any regrets or shame.
Mail.
Quango chiefs are pocketing payoffs of up to £250,000 each as their discredited agencies are wound up.
Nine bodies set up to boost local economies are to be scrapped next year after being criticised as wasteful and bureaucratic.
Figures obtained by the Daily Mail reveal the generous deals for senior executives at the Regional Development Agencies created and championed by John Prescott.
Advantage West Midlands admitted that one unnamed official received £200,000 to £250,000. The body’s corporate director Tim Gebbels also walked away with £109,512 when he left.
To date, 15 senior quango executives have received payments of more than £100,000.
Seven of the quangos have so far revealed that they have laid off 799 staff at a total cost of £23.4million, equal to almost £30,000 each.
But the top officials are getting much more. Stacy Hall, director of communications and tourism at One North East, received £120,890 when she took voluntary redundancy last September.
Stephen Peacock, enterprise and innovation director at the South West RDA, was handed £113,701 in a taxpayer-funded deal. In many cases, senior staff appear to have been given the equivalent of a year’s salary.
One thing the Mail fails to mention is that many of these looters then move onto another well paid sinecure at another Quango or local authority and the whole ghastly process of robbing the taxpayer begins again.
What they seem to forget is names are being taken, faces remembered and lengths of hempen rope and/or piano wire being imagined around their necks for the inevitable day our patience breaks and our wrath is forthcoming. Every day brings it closer and the more they rob us the greater it becomes.
All we need is a powercut during the X Factor final and we'll have the bastards...
Well I can dream can't I?

Just who were rioting again?

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

I am livid at the moment, that utter cretin and turncoat David Cameron got up in Parliament and condemned a group of patriots who were not rioting, were not causing trouble and who did not attack the police.
Telegraph
13.25 Cameron wheels on the English Defence League following claims their supporters were among gangs of vigilantes who attacked police in Eltham last night, saying: "I described parts of our society as sick and there is none sicker than the EDL"
So who was responsible for 5 days of rioting in the major cities of England? Not the EDL!
Who was responsible for the deaths of two Muslims in Birmingham mown down by a car? Not the EDL!
Who was holidaying in Tuscany when this all kicked off? Not the EDL!
Who was responsible for cuts in the police budget and the destruction of police morale? Not the EDL!
Who was out distributing leaflets telling rioters how to cover their tracks? Not the EDL!

People praised the Turks, Kurds, Muslims etc. when they came out to defend their homes and property, but when patriotic Englishmen did the same in Eltham they were condemned by police and politicians. No mention either has been made of the efforts of Patriotic EDL members holding the line between their districts in Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham and Manchester despite the fact that they were often outnumbered in the region of 10 to 1 preventing the riots spreading  and letting the police get on with their jobs knowing they didn't have to worry about what was going on elsewhere.

The EDL even put out a call for volunteers to help clean up the mess, the mess they didn't make!
Already EDL supporters have taken to the streets to help defend their communities and prepare for the clean-up operations that must follow the last few days of rioting of looting.
We already have members organising themselves in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Norwich and Birmingham, and are also looking to organise efforts in Bristol, Leeds, Wolverhampton, Salford, Nottingham, Leicester and Hull.
If you live near to any of these areas, please contact your Division Leaders and Regional Organisers to find out what you can do to help, or speak to members on our forums or the official EDL Facebook page.
David Cameron's comments are a disgrace and an affront to all loyal patriotic Englishmen who only wish to defend their homes and families. He has totally sickened me and many others today and his party will never get our votes whilst he is a member or does not apologise.

This is what multiculturalism ends up as.
This is what diversity will get you.
This is what happens when you go soft on minorities because of the above.
This is what lowering standards to get minorities into positions of authority (aka tokenism) brings you.
This is what failure to assure excellence in our education system has brought us too.
This is the price we now have to pay for the failure of the political classes, socialists and the MSM to listen to the concerns of the ordinary people of England.
Our cities burn, minorities riot, the followers of a foreign and malignant fascistic political system dressed in the trappings of a religion have been allowed to settle in numbers in some of our cities and demand their own laws. The indigenous population have been derided by politicians as being bigoted to even question it. When they marched in protest they were called Nazi's, scum, vermin, knuckle draggers, right wing and racist, yet it was not they who rioted.
And when the dust settles, the cover up will begin, those who burned our cities and attacked our police and ordinary folk will claim victim status yet again, it's already happening on the BBC as excuse after excuse is trotted out about cuts and police brutality by so called community leaders. The usual soundbite fools like Ken Livingstone are being dragged out too to try and put a political slant on the mindless looting by trying to blame the current government for a mess of the previous governments making.
There have even been attempts by some on the left to draw parallels with violence exhibited at EDL protests in an effort to divert blame or ameliorate the situation, save only the EDL have never burnt buses, set fire to buildings, looted shops, attacked homeowners and robbed them. These were the same people who hunted desperately for any kind of link between Anders Brievik and the EDL even to the extent of inventing a few.
This is what happens when those in power and their accomplices simply don't listen to ordinary people.

How bureaucrats think

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

Well not all of them I'd guess, though it is only a guess, however bureaucrats running the health service have come up with a novel idea for saving money and it's probably not one anyone with an ounce of decency in their body would have come up with, indeed most of us would not even consider it.
Telegraph.
Health service trusts are “imposing pain and inconvenience” by making patients wait longer than necessary, in some cases as long as four months, the study found.
Executives believe the delays mean some people will remove themselves from lists “either by dying or by paying for their own treatment” claims the report, by an independent watchdog that advises the NHS.
The Co-operation and Competition Panel says the tactic is one of a number used by managers that “excessively constrain” patients’ rights to choose where to be operated upon, and damage hospitals’ ability to compete for planned surgery.
It claims unfair practices are “endemic” in some areas of England and pose a “serious risk” to the Government’s drive to open up the health service to competition.
But managers, who are already rationing surgery for cataracts, hips, knees and tonsils, say they must restrict treatment as the NHS is under orders to make £20 billion of efficiency savings by 2015.
One of the problems that often occurs when various departments are told to go looking for ways to make savings or cuts in expenditure is that those tasked with making the savings rarely if ever see themselves as expendable. In public services, the cuts almost always come in at the frontline services, because those services are rarely if ever asked their opinions as to how to make the service more efficient, mostly because the management know the answers will be to get rid of them rather than the frontline staff. A classic case of never asking a question which you know you wont like the answer too.
This is why most private companies use outside auditors, there's no level of covering their own arses involved in a fixed term contract to see where savings could be made.
Yet you have to admire the bureaucratic mindset (for a given level of admire) in their quest for savings in coming up with the idea of saving money by not spending any on their customers who have probably paid into the system their entire lives.
I'm fairly sure there's a special level of hell reserved for those who did this abominable act of cruelty yet justified it by the savings they made. They really are scum and they really need hanging from a lamppost with piano wire pour encourager les autres.

I do not believe we can win in Afghanistan, I do not believe we should be in that barbarous place, I believe that we should have gone in to be sure, but should have wrecked the terrorist training camps and their support mechanisms from one end of the country to the other killed every terrorist we could get our hands on and simply left. We should have then kept an eye on the place and if they attempted to rebuild, do the same again (including in Pakistan) ad infinitum. As we are there, I expected that we would deal with any problems in a robust manner. I would have been wrong of course.

Telegraph.
British soldiers who spot Taliban fighters planting roadside bombs are told not to shoot them because they do not pose an immediate threat, the Ministry of Defence has admitted.
They are instead being ordered to just observe insurgents and record their position to reduce the risk of civilian casualties.
The controversial policy emerged at an inquest into the death of Sgt Peter Rayner, 34, a soldier from the 2nd Batallion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment who was killed in October last year by an improvised explosive device as he led a patrol in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
Wendy Rayner, 40, disclosed that in the days leading up to his death her husband been told that it was not his job to attack insurgents laying bombs.
Mrs Rayner, who lives with their young son in Bradford, told the inquest that the insurgents were being allowed to get away with the murder of British troops.
She said: “They are not allowed to fire on these terrorists. If they can see people leaving these IEDs, why can’t they take them out? One officer even told him 'I am an army Captain and you will do your job'.
"We have lost too many men out there, they had seen people planting IEDs yet could not open fire or make contact with them. I believe strongly if people had taken on board what he was saying more he might have been here today.”
Under the Geneva Convention and the nationally administered Rules of Engagement the 9,500 British troops in Afghanistan are told they can only attack if there is an immediate threat to life.
I would have said that planting an IED would have been an immediate threat to life as the next person past it would have been killed or maimed. Besides, these people need to learn if they do this sort of thing, there are consequences and the terrorists there certainly do not follow the Geneva Convention and the nationally administered Rules of Engagement so neither should we. They will kill our troops given any opportunity, the only thing they really understand is strength and we appear to be anything but strong. No, I'm not advocating random violence nor reprisals, though I do believe there might be a case for reprisals but anyone seen planting a bomb should simply be shot pour encourager les autres, to coin a phrase.
Our troops have a hard enough job on their hands as it is, our idiotic politicians, the U.N. and the Ministry of defence have hobbled them and tied one hand behind their backs by insisting on civilised rules for dealing with barbarians.
Either let loose the dogs of war or leave, what we are doing now will never work in a million years.

Lot of blogs like mine have been banging on about the dire legacy that socialist and social engineers have left this countries education system in. It's easy enough to point the finger at New Labour, though if truth be told the general malaise set in a long time before that.

Telegraph.
In a damning indictment of Labour’s legacy, it emerged that deprived pupils in countries such as Estonia, Indonesia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Mexico and Slovenia perform better than those from Britain.
Data from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development shows some 31 per cent of poor children internationally manage to exceed expectations for their social class in school tests.
But in Britain, the proportion slumps to just a quarter – placing the country below the global average and 39th out of 65 countries.
It suggests disadvantaged children in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have less chance of climbing the social ladder than in the majority of developed nations.
Michael Gove, the Education Secretary, said achievement among the poorest pupils was a “scandal” and suggested a £30billion rise in the schools budget under Labour failed to improve results.
Well sadly most of the £30 billion did not go on improving education standards so much as fiddling the curriculum to constantly show improving results at all levels despite the clear evidence from universities and employers that it wasn't getting better, but the standard of education of the students entering university or being interviewed was if anything getting worse.
Successive governments have damned whole generations of kids to struggle and not be able to improve their status in life by getting a good education save by luck. Meddling with the core subjects to include "Britishness", "climate change" and "diversity/multiculturalism" all deemed to be politically correct subjects whilst being of scant use to the pupils themselves. Every effort was made to bring schools down to the lowest common denominator rather than stream the brightest and best into higher levels. That was looked upon as elitist and simply couldn't be allowed, if some had to fail then all must fail, though they deemed the failure in standards a success, after all didn't the figures show results were getting better year in year out? Though we know why that was and it wasn't that pupils were getting smarter or eduction standards improving.
We need elitism in education, we need a means to encourage the brightest and best to move to a higher graded school, we don't need an everyone must be a winner mentality, because if real life tells us one thing, there are winners and there are losers.

Compare and Contrast (again)

Pretty much everyone remembers the Baby P case and the aftermath where the head of Social Services at Haringey Council Sharon Shoesmith was sacked for the lamentable failings of that department. That you would have thought would be the end of it, however the "Righteous" do look after their own and the Appeal Court has ruled she had been unlawfully sacked. Now she intends to sue for £1 million in taxpayers money.

Express.
FORMER social services boss Sharon Shoesmith finally apologised for the tragedy of Baby P yesterday as she prepared to land taxpayers with a £1million bill.
She insisted her sorrow over the death of 17-month-old Peter Connelly would “stay with me for the rest of my life”. But she could not contain her joy as she said she was “over the moon” at winning an appeal over her sacking.
Shoesmith clammed up when challenged by the Daily Express. Asked if it was right that taxpayers should foot the bill for her department’s failings she refused to comment.
Now the 58-year-old is set to pocket compensation after the Appeal Court ruled she had been unlawfully sacked from her £130,000-a-year post as children’s services director at London’s Haringey Council. Three judges blamed former education secretary Ed Balls. They ruled Shoesmith had been the victim of “unfair procedure” when the Labour minister announced live on TV that she was being dismissed with immediate effect.
She is now set to claim her right to a full salary and pension from the day she was sacked in December 2008. The payout could reach £1millon.#
Ok it was a typical labour soundbite bollocks job of sacking her, but anyone with a shred of honour would have resigned anyway, nor can I see the case for so much in compensation, give her 1p and tell her to fuck off sounds about right. Still, she's "Righteous"  so no doubt she'll get her compo and eventually slither back into another post in the system, possibly after a name change.

And contrast.

Express.
PARATROOPER Ben Parkinson became an unfair symbol of Britain’s compensation system.
The highly-rated Lance Bombardier was the most-injured soldier in Afghanistan after his Land Rover was hit by a Taliban bomb.
Ben, 26, lost both legs, broke his back and suffered terrible brain damage, severely affecting his speech.
The once-superfit soldier spent four months in a coma and needed 18 months of treatment at Headley Court military hospital in Surrey.
Yet, despite the extent of his injuries, Ben received a paltry £152,000 in compensation.
That's right, serve your country with honour, lose your legs, suffer brain damage, get £152,000. Allow a child to die of horrific injuries whilst supposedly under the care of your department and get sacked for it, possibly receive £1 million.

I don't think I need say more do you?

Taking the mickey

Seems our idiot government has decided that it might be a good idea to pay people who shouldn't be here to go home.

Express.
FOREIGN criminals have been handed up to £25million of taxpayers’ cash to go home despite having no right to remain here, it emerged yesterday.
State “bribes” dished out under the Home Office’s voluntary return programme were given to nearly half of all overseas prisoners removed in the past 16 months alone at a cost of up to £12million, according to leaked documents.
The figure is about the same amount paid out in the first three years of the scheme and shows how common the controversial handouts are becoming.
Just one in three prisoners deported in 2009 left under the voluntary programme. Last year that figure was closer to one in two.
The UK Border Agency defended the payments of up to £1,500, saying they help avoid costly deportation battles, but critics yesterday hit out at the idea of paying money to convicts, who include rapists and muggers.
Costly deportation battles? I'm sorry but they shouldn't be here and shouldn't even get the option to fight deportation, even if they've settled and have families. And, what's to stop them simply coming back after they leave? It really is simple, we should not be using taxpayers money as a bribe to get anyone to leave, nor should we be allowing them any attempt to appeal deportation for being here illegally. If you're caught, you're gone, simple as that and all your worldly goods other than the clothes you stand in are sold off to pay your fare and fine. This should especially apply to criminals if you're here illegally and break the law then your feet should not touch the ground once you've served your sentence, you have no right to be here and secondly you've broken other laws as well!
I would not have believed we would do something so stupid as to give criminals money to go away as little as even 15 years ago. Now it's producing nothing other than a tut and a typical comment from most around me.
Welcome to the mad house that is the UK.

Human wrongs

There's a guy out there, a Tunisian who has been recruiting Islamists to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Home Secretary has already ordered that he be kept out of the UK, however our borders are so porous that he came here anyway and is now going to use the Human Rights Act to stay, no doubt living off our generous benefits system too.

Telegraph.
A convicted terrorist banned from Britain for being a risk to national security has been stopped by the courts from being deported.
The Muslim man, who cannot be named, was found guilty of terrorism in Tunisia and has already been extradited once to Italy, where he was accused of being involved in helping to send Islamists to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Theresa May, the Home Secretary, ordered that he be kept out of Britain because his presence would not be "conducive to the public good for reasons of national security", adding that there was evidence he had been involved in "extremist radicalisation".
However, after he was acquitted in Italy, he returned to Britain and has been allowed to stay by the Court of Appeal while he fights Mrs May's ruling. The court's decision has exposed what experts said was a "loophole" in immigration law which would allow "dangerous" people to stay here.
Experts said the case would have serious implications for the Home Office's ability to exclude terrorists and those suspected of terrorist offences, effectively creating an open border for terrorists while they pursue legal challenges.
Although only a small number of people would be affected, they could pose serious risks to national security.
Lord Justice Pill, Lord Justice Rix and Lord Justice Lloyd backed the terrorist's right to be in Britain while he mounts an appeal. Lord Justice Pill commented that denying him access to Britain could lead to "potential injustice".
Letting him stay here could also lead to a potential injustice too in that he might just recruit someone who will blow up a tube train or bus, but the fact that he might be in danger obviously trumps the fact that we might be in danger from him according to the judges.
I am truly sick to the back teeth of this human rights act, as far as I'm concerned it was brought in to keep Tony Blair's Mrs. happy and has been a disaster for this country in that we can no longer keep those who might be a danger to us away from us. If this guy is in danger when he returns to Tunisia, then that's his lookout, not ours, I'm sure there are plenty of Islamic hellholes where he'd be welcome anyway, he's certainly not welcome here, not by the majority of law abiding people who cannot see why the judges would let him stay to endanger us.
Truly the law is an ass and the Human Rights Act has never served anyone but criminals and terrorists!

Double your money

The high priest of the cult of gaia (UK) who also sidelines in driving offence avoidance is trying to commit the taxpayer to doubling their energy bills. Enviroloon Huhne, the well paid Energy Secretary who hopefully will lose his cabinet position along with any chance of ever being Lib Dem leader wants to make sure the UK will halve its greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels.

Express.
BELEAGUERED Energy Secretary Chris Huhne yesterday committed Britain to “exceptionally ambitious” cuts in carbon emissions despite warnings that they could help double domestic energy bills in a decade.
Mr Huhne, who is fighting for his political life over allegations about speeding points, said that by 2025 Britain will have halved its greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels.
That is a significant expansion of the previous pledge to cut emissions by 34 per cent by 2020.
He also announced plans to develop giant offshore wind turbines, which would be nearly as tall as Big Ben.
Mr Huhne overcame Cabinet resistance to push through the plan and make Britain the first country in the world to make legally binding commitments to slash emissions in the 2020s.
But critics warned that the consumer will have to foot the bill. Mark Todd, director of price comparison service Energyhelpline.com, said the drive would cost households around £10.8billion a year extra by 2020, taking the average bill from £1,150 to £1,600.
He warned: “Fuel scarcity, political turmoil and natural disasters will drive this figure even higher and it would not be beyond the bounds of possibility to see bills almost double to £2,000 by 2020. Once again the ordinary consumer is ending up footing the bill.”
Price comparison site uSwitch.com also warned that annual energy bills could hit £1,600 within nine years.
Ann Robinson, director of consumer policy, said: “By 2020 the average bill will have rocketed by nearly £500. This doesn’t even take into account any price rises.
“Today’s announcement could be the death knell for cheap energy.”
Others feared big business would be driven abroad. The Civitas think-tank said the plans would create the “highest energy costs in the world” and send turnover worth £60billion and 600,000 jobs “up in smoke”.
Yes, prepare to be crucified by your energy bills in order to stop global warming climate change climate disruption. The stupid thing is, the technology doesn't even exist yet to get us close, bird choppers don't work at anything like their capacity, are expensive to run and maintain, solar power is not great in a northern climate and doesn't work at night and the only real option, nuclear, still gets a slating from the enviroloons who hate it with a passion because its messy if it goes wrong. Electric cars will improve, but they'll need a massive breakthrough in battery life and surge potential to even be a patch on a modern diesel for distance and economy, plus electricity is going to get expensive (and potentially unreliable with this scheme) to power the damned things. Insulation is great, but you still need to heat your home and if the wind isn't blowing?
Half baked, ill thought out, useless solutions to a problem that might not even exist.
As Lord Monckton put it...

A lot to answer for?

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

According to iDave Cameron, Pakistan has a lot to answer for, I can think of one or two things iDave might care to answer for as well.

Express.
PAKISTAN will have 'lots of questions' to answer surrounding the hiding place of the world's most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden, Prime minister David Cameron announced today.
The Prime minister said that the country would face a tough questioning over the hiding place of Osama Bin Laden, who was  killed in a special forces raid in Pakistan.

David Cameron said the mission by the Americans and the subsequent death of the Al Qaeda leader had been 'justified, lawful and right'.

Mr Cameron added that although  Pakistan's political leadership claimed to be fighting terrorism he warned that there could be a 'flaming great row' with the country over the death.
Yes, there are quite a few questions that the world could and should be asking Pakistan over Osama Bin Laden, however I don't think Cameron quite understands the position he's in. After all he was the one who okayed a £650 million pound giveaway to the country, gave them vital military secrets and who then offended most of the UK by apologising for something we didn't do!

Mail.
David Cameron vowed to hand hundreds of millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money plus vital military secrets to Pakistan yesterday to make amends for offending the Muslim nation last year.
The Prime Minister pledged to invest £650million in Pakistani schools at a time when the education budget at home is being cut.
Britain is also to give highly sensitive military technology to combat roadside bombs to the Pakistani security services, which are widely blamed for funding and arming the Taliban.
Mr Cameron defended the payments, saying it was ‘in our interest’ to help Pakistan.
He said: ‘If Pakistan is a success we’ll have a good friend to trade and invest and deal with.
The Prime Minister sought to blame the British Empire for the situation in Kashmir which has been a running sore in Pakistan’s relations with India since partition in 1947.
So, we're giving away cash to a country harbouring one of the most wanted men in the world. We're giving aid to the security services of said country who were protecting (according to Wikileaks) the most wanted man in the world and who would probably help the Taliban with the knowledge rather than us. Plus the idiot blamed us for the problems in Kashmir caused by the Hindu Maharaja Hari Singh who ran that province who decided to stay in India despite a majority of Muslims in that province.
If I were Cameron, I'd be keeping my big fat mouth shut and hoping that nobody in the MSM will bring this up. Because if there's any such thing as justice in this world it will come back to drag him screaming into the night of failed Tory leaders. It probably won't but I'll shed no tears when the men in grey suits finally do for that odious little turncoat!

Ah, seems the MSM have noticed.

They still don't get it and it's looking increasingly unlikely this side of the revolution that they ever will, because there are no consequences really to their actions. I'm talking about various public bodies spending taxpayers cash like it's an inexhaustible fountain, which I suppose to them it really is as no government in recent memory has actually tackled the bastards and made them accountable to both the government and the public. Take the Audit Commission (please) in any ordinary set of circumstances you'd expect the people there to have a tight rein on what they are spending our cash on, after all it's supposed to be their job to keep an eye on what every other government department is spending our cash on.

Telegraph.
Senior figures at the Audit Commission, which polices spending at local authorities, NHS trusts and other government bodies, spent almost £20,000 of public money over the past two years on luxury goods and services.
The body is thought to be the first government organisation to release details of spending on taxpayer-funded credit cards. Thousands of other civil servants also have the cards, which have been used for spending of about £1  billion, leading to warnings of a public funds scandal.
The credit card receipts disclose that Audit Commission executives enjoyed meals costing more than £600 at L’Escargot and Coq d’Argent in London. Hundreds of pounds were also spent at a brasserie owned by Raymond Blanc, the French chef. In total, £11,390 was spent on fine dining in two years.
Executives also made 30 purchases at florists, costing more than £1,300, and also bought goods from HMV and Thorntons, cinema tickets and doughnuts.
The details were released to Eric Ollerenshaw, a Conservative MP, and will be officially disclosed to the House of Commons this week.
A government insider said that another “MPs’ expenses-style scandal” could emerge if details of credit card expenditure across government were published. Senior mandarins are understood to be privately seeking to block such a release.
The government procurement cards are Visa cards issued by several banks for small office expenditure, including travel. Some Whitehall departments insist that the cards are used for all spending of less than £5,000, which is automatically paid off from public funds.
It really beggars belief at times the profligacy and corruption of taxpayers cash at the top of the public services, if anyone tried that in my company their feet wouldn't even touch the floor as they were kicked out and means set in motion to recoup the money through either civil or criminal courts. Though most expenses wouldn't even be allowed to reach the stage that these troughing pigs have managed, they'd just look at the receipts and say we're not paying that. But in the weird world of the public services such basic safeguards don't seem to have a place in the culture of waste and mismanagement at the top of the tree, though I suspect the junior ranks might just struggle to get a replacement paperclip from the stationary store such would be the paperwork involved.
It will be interesting to see if senior mandarins in the civil service do manage to block the release of credit card expenditure on their Visa government procurement cards after all, they can spend up to £5,000 on them and it's paid off automatically no questions asked, well at least until now, people like Eric Ollerenshaw MP are asking and seem to be trying to get to the bottom of the foetid stink of corruption that emanates from senior civil servants.
Will he succeed? We can hope so. Will heads roll? We can hope so too. What we can be sure of is that the senior mandarins will fight like trapped rats to prevent even a hint of their largesse ever coming to the attention of the public or even MP's if they can help it. It's one of the reasons they have to go, or be strung from the lampposts as and when we get around to them after hanging the MP's and lawyers etc.
It's a long list and it just keeps getting longer and possibly always will at least until they show a lot more respect to the long suffering taxpayer and really start giving value for money.

The moron who burned the poppies at the Remembrance Day service gets a £50 fine and outraged a nation.

The Prime Minister told the Commons that a "stronger statement" should have been made to show public disgust at the man's action.
"I think to many of us, you look at something like that and feel that we should be making a stronger statement that the sort of behaviour is out of order and has no place in a tolerant country," he said.
Now a guy who burns a Koran in protest gets a 70 day prison sentence.

Cumberland News.
A man who burned a copy of the Koran in Carlisle city centre was today jailed for 70 days.

Andrew Ryan, 32, of Summerhill, off London Road, was accompanied to Carlisle Magistrates' Court by supporters carrying a St George's Cross flag who were chanting "We love you England".

Ryan had pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harrassment and theft of the Koran holy book from Carlisle Library at an earlier hearing.
Ok it wasn't his Koran, he stole/borrowed it from the library, however that normally involves just a fine not a custodial sentence, but 70 days for outraging Muslims whilst the moron who burned a poppy and outraged the nation gets only a £50 fine?
The word disproportionate seems to apply here. After all if some idiot artist can put on display a bible to be defaced and has nothing done to them. this guy should surely have expected the same, save I suppose that he didn't call it art.
I suspect Andrew Ryan  will end up a hero in some quarters, despite the theft, I have to admit I don't like the idea of burning books, but I have never felt so close to burning a Koran as I've done this afternoon, sadly though I now know the cost of freedom of expression and that's 70 days in jail.

Every year the Christians from different churches get together to march a 400-yard route to celebrate Easter.
But this year their Good Friday parade has been banned – because it breaches health and safety laws.
Church leaders say town hall bureaucrats are refusing Christians rights routinely afforded to minority groups, and have vowed to defy them.
Last night Brent Council told the worshippers to walk on the pavement.
A spokesman added: ‘Brent Council was not contacted about the march until around a week ago.
‘There is a strict legal procedure we have to follow to issue a traffic order closing roads so people can march in the highway, which includes advertising and consultation, and this takes about five weeks.
‘We are very sorry to say there is now not enough time for us to legally facilitate this march.’
I'm sorry, but the not enough time to facilitate the march doesn't cut the mustard with me, the churches have been doing it for 13 years and I'm fairly sure that the council knows about the parade and where and when it's likely to take place. Can you imagine the furore if the GLC decided on health and safety grounds to ban the Notting Hill carnival in August because no-one had asked them about it? Not going to happen is it? This is just a piece of posturing by Brent to discriminate against Christians after all if they can hold and promote a massive Diwali festival as well as asking local mosques about Eid so they can promote that festival too...
Brent Council hosts a Diwali street celebration every year. Last November it boasted it had held the biggest Diwali event in the country, after more than 60,000 people turned out.
And in July last year the council appealed to the Muslim community to notify it of any Eid events so it could promote them free of charge.
If they can recognise those other newer festivals then surely they can recognise Easter and the traditions in Brent that go on around that celebration that oddly enough have gone on for 13 years without until this year interference from the council.
Personally I think this is just a religiously motivated attack against Christians something that I'd bet good money on that Brent would never try against any other religion, I rather expect they'd move heaven and earth if the local Mosques wanted to do a parade at short notice and would allow them to have their way.
I'm still trying to decide whether it's idiocy or malice that defines all these attacks against the indigenous law abiding people of this land, though I'm starting to come down on the side of malice and a deliberate attempt to wind us all up into attacking a scapegoat for all the problems we face, rather than the political classes as they deserve.

It may be the law, but it isn't justice

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

It didn't really make anything but a footnote in the various MSM outlets, but justice for Amy Houston failed on Thursday. Amy was the young girl who was killed by Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, 33, an Iraqi Kurd and a failed asylum seeker who was already banned from driving, who left Amy Houston dying under the wheels of his car in Blackburn in 2003.

Sky.
A bid to deport failed asylum seeker Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, who killed a 12-year-old girl in a hit-and-run in Lancashire, has been rejected.
Ibrahim, a 33-year-old Iraqi Kurd, had already been banned from driving when he left Amy Houston dying under the wheels of his car in Blackburn in 2003.

He was jailed for four months over the death but on his release was allowed to remain in the UK

Ibrahim had faced deportation as an illegal immigrant but was allowed to remain after an immigration judge ruled in 2009 that he had established a "family life" in the UK.

Amy's father Paul had campaigned for years to get Ibrahim deported.
The Court of Appeal judges expressed their "greatest sympathy" for Amy's family but said their only task was to decide whether there had been any error of law.

After the judgement was given, Mr Houston, who was in the public gallery, addressed the bench saying: "What about my right to a family life?"
There is some debate going on currently as to whether or not Ibrahim is married or that the children are his and he's simply using this as an excuse to stay in the UK. But whether true or not it's plain to me that there has been a gross miscarriage of justice here, oh certainly with Ibrahim the law was upheld and his human rights were not breached, though again what of Amy Houston's rights and those of her father to see justice done? 4 months in prison hardly strikes me as just and as for being allowed to stay here after he had failed to be granted asylum status...
Oh yes I'm sure they took the rights of his new family to have a "man" in their life into account, but my sympathy for them is by far outweighed by my disgust at his actions, nothing stopping them from going back to Iraq with him after all if they need him so much.
As the father said we have a system that protects the criminal.
This killer is free to live in this country despite his criminal past, but meanwhile the family of the girl are "sentenced" to live the rest of their lives in mourning, a judgement made on a legal point, NOT common sense.

Saying it how it is

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

There are rules out there, things which I can think, but not say, well not any more so badly has the government stifled freedom of speech and expression with their political correctness and equality agenda. You know the typical responses to shut down debate and accuse the one who said the truth as they saw it as a racist, homophobe, Islamophobe, sexist, mysogynist, it mostly comes from the point and scream bumper handbook of socialist dialectic and it often enough works even to the extent that extremely unfunny feminist comediennes can declare that certain sub groups denoted by skin colour cannot be racist at all.
The unrighteous amongst us tend to use victimhood poker (U.S. version, some UK variations apply) rules to sort out who is and isn't allowed to be criticised or get away with saying something outrageous that say the person holding a lower card could not hope to get away with. As a white heterosexual male, every other genotype counts higher than me on the victimhood poker scorechart which is why I'm very glad I ran across this guy...

Caution contains swearing, not safe for work.

Because technically the only thing in victimhood poker that could trump him would be a black female.

Usual disclaimers apply not all (insert race/religionists/genders/sexual mores) want to murder us in our beds/rule the world/convert us by the sword/think it's all men's fault/turn us all gay

I of course can't say what he said without censure of some kind, I'm not in the eyes of many of the righteous even allowed to think such things (see disclaimer) there's rules you see...

Hell of a good rant though.

£650 million reasons not to vote Tory

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

You have to hand it to Cameron, when it comes to foreign affairs, he's right up there in the Gordon Brown class. When it comes to running Britain down abroad, he's in a class of his own. and I for one am sick and tired of politicians and other righteous scum apologising for stuff in the past that has nothing to do with me.

The gesture came after Mr Cameron sparked a diplomatic rift last year when he accused the country of ‘looking both ways’ on terrorism.
It is designed to get four million children into the classroom – 17million currently get no schooling. Pakistan spends just 1.5 per cent of its national income on schools but is placing billion-pound orders for six Chinese submarines and 36 fighter aircraft.
The UK will have no control of the curriculum in schools receiving funding, meaning taxpayers could see their money pumped into madrassas peddling extremism.
Mr Cameron defended the payments, saying it was ‘in our interest’ to help Pakistan.
Why is it in our interests to help Pakistan? Don't we have enough problems at home? Also why are we paying into their education system when they are buying military hardware from non UK sources?
What exactly do we get from Pakistan other than trouble? I mean we have the Pakistani gangs in the Northwest pimping and grooming under age girls. There is a good deal of evidence linking them with electoral fraud, police corruption, extremism and benefit fraud to name but a few (usual addendum of not all Pakistanis etc. blah, blah blah).
Cameron couldn't even get the roots right for the Kashmir problem, blaming the UK when it was the governor of Kashmir (an Indian Hindu) who caused the problem.
Still my main issue is this...

This is what angers me, we have problems here that this money could help resolve and Cameron and co are just handing it over to a radical Muslim state without any preconditions as to how they are to spend it other than in education. I suspect a lot of it will go into Wahhabi Madrassas further radicalising another generation of Pakistanis who have already killed non Muslims who called for a reform of the barbaric blasphemy laws in that country. There are suspicions that the military aid will simply end up helping the Taliban to design better bombs anyway.
Cameron's pandering to Islam has to stop, charity begins at home and the money going out in foreign aid would be better spent at home trying to repair the damage done by 13 years of Labour misrule. Yes I know it's only a drop in the ocean compared to the deficit continually being run up by government borrowing, but the lines have to be drawn somewhere and we have need of the money here, spent on British people and British needs. Giving away our cash to nuclear powers who wont spend their own cash on their own people hardly strikes me as a cost effective process. If Pakistan can spend billions on foreign arms to bolster its military, then it can find £650 million to educate its own people from its own pockets and to hell with demanding grovelling apologies from our spineless political classes!

Waste of money

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

The original census (1801) had very few questions, mostly name, sex, occupation and was simply half of one page. Like most things to do with bureaucracy and statistic gathering it grew and grew until the new one due stands at 11 pages and wants to know the ins and outs of a ducks backside so far as I can tell. Still it is only every 10 years and I guess I could tolerate it even if I planned for that day to move all the beds into one room and lie about my religion and various other items of my life that I think are none of the government business.
This however got my goat (yes the dog will be registered as a goat that day if they happen to ask)

Telegraph.

The cost of next month’s national census is expected to reach almost £500 million as 30,000 officials are hired to ensure immigrants who do not speak English take part in the compulsory population count.

Guidance on how to complete the 32-page form has been translated into 56 languages while advertisements are being broadcast on ethnic minority TV channels and leaflets distributed to shops, mosques, churches and temples.
It is a legal requirement for everyone to complete the census, which takes place once every 10 years, with the next national survey due to be conducted on 27 March. The results are used to help plan public services, including school places, hospitals, and transport.
Persistent refusal to complete the form can lead to prosecution and a fine of up to £1,000.
But the Office for National Statistics, which organises the survey, admitted that while three million people failed to complete the 2001 census, only 38 were convicted.
Glen Watson, ONS census director, said the cost of the exercise was projected to reach £480 million this year, twice the total for the previous census in 2001.

Why are we wasting taxpayers money on translations? There should only be language translations for the recognised languages of these Islands. English, Welsh, Scots Gael and possibly Manx assuming it's a separate tongue, oh and Braille too and perhaps a large print edition. You can't read any of those? Tough, you pay for a translator out of your own pocket, not mine or else learn the language yourself!
I'm sick and tired of the continual waste of money the state throws down the drain translating other languages for those too bloody lazy to learn the language of the country they live in! You don't see it happening in France, they make bloody sure you only get everything in French, if you can't cope, it's your problem, not theirs. £500 million in wasted cash that could have been spent on something important like school repairs or even repairing the winter potholes from the global warming spasm we had in December. But no we have to pander to those invited in by New Labour to vote for them and keep the cost of labour down. (3.2 million not counting illegals) But no, we have to keep the immigrants happy so Labour shelled out our cash to translate the census into 56 other languages and then apparently gave some USA military firm (Lockheed Martin)  the contract to to the data capture.

Ye Gods am I getting angry about this!

Justifying paedophilia

Diposkan oleh Zainal Arifain

There is a problem in the Pakistani Muslim community and it isn't just that they are Muslims. For years now the some of the young men in that community have been preying on and grooming under age girls from outside their community, not just white, but Sikh and Hindu girls as well. Finally the MSM had the courage to break the story and various other minions of the state poked their heads above the parapet to tell us yes they knew about it, but dared not report it further because it might be deemed "racist" if they did. So you'd think the Muslim community as a whole would be keeping their heads down and coming out with various platitudes such as "it's only a minority" and doing their best to use the term "Asian" rather than "Muslim" or "Pakistani" like most of their useful idiots on the left and in the MSM have been doing, though the Muslim talent for public relations and how to get it totally wrong is utterly astounding.
So, into the breach steps Lord Ahmed of Cartexting Rotherham to explain why these scum behaved as they did and it's all due to marrying their cousins (even the ones who weren't married it seems)

Express.
BRITAIN'S first Muslim peer last night attacked arranged first-cousin marriages for contributing to a spate of sex crimes committed by Pakistani men.
Lord Ahmed of Rotherham said the marriages were being used by depraved young men as an excuse to prey on “vulnerable girls”.
His comments follow a succession of court cases where Asian men have been prosecuted for targeting white teenage girls.
The Labour peer, who wants an end to cousin marriages, claimed Asian men target their victims at a young age because they feel there is less chance of getting caught.
He said: “They are married to girls from overseas who they don’t have anything in common with and they have children and a family but they are looking for fun in their sexual activities and seek out vulnerable girls.”
Last month, former Home Secretary Jack Straw provoked fury after claiming some men of Pakistani origin view white girls as “easy meat”.
The Labour MP for Blackburn spoke out after two Asian men who abused girls in Derby were given indeterminate jail terms.
Research suggests about 55 per cent of British Pakistanis marry their first cousins, who are typically from abroad.
Marriages between first cousins is lawful in Britain, but they are generally frowned upon.
So there you go, marrying your cousin turns you into a sex mad paedophile according at least to Lord Ahmed. The truth is rather more brutal of course, these men behaved in a depraved manner because people in authority and in their own communities chose to look the other way. Yes some of the blame must also be laid at the feet of the parents of these children too, though in some instances at least they may not have been aware of what was going on, or even cared. But the vast majority of the blame has to be laid at the feet of these men who deliberately sought to target vulnerable children from other communities because they knew full well what would happen if they did target their own. There is no justification in the world for what they did, nor any excuse and Lord Ahmed would have done well to have simply continued his campaign to end first cousin marriages without trying to excuse or justify these perverts behaviour.
I am sick to death of this stupid blame game played out in the MSM and our political elite over the rape and prostitution of these young girls. I'm sick to death of the avoidance of the discussion of the amount of men queuing up to pay to molest these children, some in their 50's following the example of their sick prophet no doubt, after all if it was good enough for Mohammed... And well past the age where they're over the distress of being forced into marriage if they ever were. I'm sick to death of the term Asian being used to disguise the fact that this is a Pakistani Muslim problem. It's not a Sikh problem, it's not a Hindu problem it most certainly isn't a Chinese problem and they are all Asians and sick to death no doubt about being tarred with a Pakistani Muslim perversion. I'm sick to death of people like Taji Mustafa, media spokesperson of Hizb ut-Tahrir who objects to the claims that Islam had anything to do with the issue as various newspapers had claimed. He said:
"Islam promotes respect for women regardless of their race, religion and ethnicity. In Islam, you are not allowed to drink, take drugs, engage in pre-marital sex or even have a girlfriend. So how can Islam be blamed for these heinous crimes?"
I suspect the fact that it was Muslims doing this that gives the game away, not Asians but Pakistani Muslims, despite the vast generalisation on the matter of who was actually doing it in the press and amongst politicians as well as the silence of various socialist groups like the SWP and the UAF who would be all over this if it was white guys preying on Muslim girls screaming racist no doubt. Since 1997, 56 people with an average age of 28 have been convicted of offences related to on-street grooming of girls aged 11 to 16. Of these, three were white and the rest Asian, of whom 50 were Muslim, with the majority British Pakistani, with more and more cases coming out of the woodwork. I'm totally sick of the stench of cover up as this seems to have been going on for years, even the fact that at the time the UK's youngest mum was only a mum because she was gang raped by Pakistani taxi drivers back in 2002 and still nothing was done other than for Labour to open the floodgates to even more immigration to rub the rights nose in multiculturalism. Well if this is one of the benefits of multiculturalism then count me out as a fan of it, not that I ever was, watching from the sidelines as all that was good about England was denigrated and contemptuously cast aside by Labour, the left and their pro British anti English mind set, which allowed this outrage to go on unchallenged until it could no longer be brushed under the mat and even then I reckon it would still be hidden and Jack Straw et al saying nothing and pretending the problem doesn't exist had not the Times finally got brave enough to do an article on it. I even remember Nick Griffin of the BNP being vilified  and prosecuted back in 2005 for saying it was going on. Since then the establishments, both legal and political, have ignored the continuing abuse and violence solely for their own benefit and to avoid getting accused of racism themselves.
I am absolutely horrified by this, authorities across the country knew this was going on for many years yet did NOTHING significant to effect the cessation of these vile acts, but elected instead to hide them under blankets of secrecy! They were culpable in withholding relevant information that would have helped to protect our country's children from abuse at the hands of Muslim paedophile gangs.
What gets me as well, is that as soon as these scum have done their time they'll vanish back into their communities and not be despised like we would despise.
That this could happen in my England is the most damning verdict on the Labour years in power, not the war in Iraq, not the financial waste and irregularities, but the despoliation of young girls by an alien culture encouraged to settle here and aided and abetted by a wall of silence by the authorities.

A very lovely lady from the EDL forum pointed me to this article...

Standpoint.
" I shan't miss some locals' assumptions that, being a white woman, if I was outside after dark, as I occasionally was, usually to walk the few metres between my house and the church, I must be a prostitute eager to give them a blow job"
A brilliant summary from the vicars wife of an inner city parish struggling and losing against a tide of immigration from the middle east. The full article is well worth a read and places in context the real destruction that multiculturalism is putting on the embattled native population of England. It also shows the mind set of those who took it upon themselves to groom young girls from any faith other than their own for sexual purposes because at root they don't see women as equal to men and particularly don't see women of other faiths or beliefs as even being particularly human, simply something to use and abuse.
Yet even now after all the publicity over the cases you still have some out there desperately trying to excuse these vile acts or shift the blame to all. Despite mounting evidence that it is endemic in certain communities.
This is a statement issued by the organisation that ran the 'islamophobia and racism' UAF conference - the conference where the prestigious speakers ripped up the photos of black people in EDL, and attacked the Jew, Pakistani, homo and cameraman who had "stormed" the conference by paying at the door.

Link.
Jack Straw chose to make a damaging and unsubstantiated intervention, whipping up the Islamophobic responses to these cases. In a television interview he claimed both that these crimes are rife in the Muslim community as their cultural background means they do not have a sexual outlet, and – most shockingly – that they target white girls in particular as they are seen as ‘easy meat’.
Unsubstantiated? The guys doing this and others arrested were all from the Pakistani Muslim community, if you want to check out the MPAC forums, you'll find lots of evidence of them trying to shift the blame as well in some instances that they think those poor girls were asking for it.

There's something rotten going on at the heart of England, it's something vile introduced by politicians who allowed unrestricted immigration into our country. It's something evil protected by those who believe that multiculturalism works. It's been ignored by the mainstream media for years, it's caused communities to disintegrate, ghettoism, intolerance, misogyny, homophobia, prostitution and a belief that it is above criticism and presents a silent front to all who investigate its misdemeanour's, seeking only to excuse or shift blame. It's called Islam and I believe it has no place in a civilised country, not until it reforms root and branch and outs those within it who do these despicable acts!
